Booking Terms and Conditions
Deposits
An initial deposit is required within 14 days to confirm your booking.
Unfortunately, deposits cannot be refunded or transferred.
For group residential stays: £100 per night
For individual residential stays: £50
Day groups of up to 15 people: £50
Day groups of more than 15 people: £100
Payment of Balance
Full payment is due seven days before the commencement of the stay/conference and can be paid by cash, cheque, debit or credit card.
Final Numbers
Confirmation of your final numbers, room list, programme and dietary requirements must be confirmed in writing two weeks prior to your event.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
Sadly, we must charge for cancelled bookings, both partial and full.
We advise guests to take out appropriate insurance to cover their stay in the event of cancellation or curtailment.
Residential Cancellation
More than 9 months notice: initial deposit forfeited
6 – 9 months notice: 20% of the total cost
4 – 6 months notice: 50% of the total cost
2 weeks to four months notice: 75% of the total cost
Less than 2 weeks notice: 95% of the total cost
Day Cancellation
1 – 3 months notice: 50% of the total cost
Less than 1 month’s notice: 75% of the total cost
Private Guest
Less than 1 month notice: 75% of the total cost
